Girls Gone Drifting 2025 Season Preview: Three Events for Ladies to Look Forward to

girls gone drifting 2025 schedule

After the success of our first event last summer, Girls Gone Drifting is beyond excited to announce that we are hosting three drift events for the 2025 season!

Our three events are spread out pretty well across the season, which should give even more awesome ladies the opportunity to drive. Each event also has a little bit of its own theme. Our Spring event will be Saturday, May 10th - which just so happens to be Mother’s Day weekend (so fitting, I know)! The Summer event will be Saturday, July 26th, which is our very own Miranda Davis’s birthday! Finally, our last event will be Friday, October 17th. This one is special because it is the same weekend as Drift Indy’s Halloween Jam (personally, one of my favorites).

On top of our three events, Drift Indy is also hosting events each of these weekends at Kil-Kare after we wrap up. This means the ladies will have the opportunity to drive not just one day, but the whole weekend!

We do plan on making some little changes this year just to keep things a little smoother on the track and to optimize all the seat time. We’re also hoping that by having two Saturday events it will make it a little easier on those traveling and prepping!

Similar to our event last year, these drift days will be open to ladies of all skill levels! Our events are the perfect environment for the new ladies to learn and for the more advanced ladies to hot lap! We know getting onto the track and learning for the first time can be a little intimidating, but it is our priority to make sure that everyone is comfortable and goes at their own speed. Whether we can provide support by giving tips or going for ride-alongs, we just want everyone to make the most of the day!

Last year we had about 25 ladies come out to our first event and we would love to hit (or surpass) the same number for our events this season. Our goal is just to get as many ladies out on the track as possible! It would be awesome to see more new drivers come out as well as ladies from other areas. Community is such a huge part of drifting and we want to be able to provide that for our ladies so they feel independent and confident.

The world of drifting is slowly being taken over by the ladies and we are so stoked to be a part of this movement. Every lady should feel comfortable getting to drift and we want to be the safe space for them to do so.

We‘re so lucky to have the support and mentorship of Drift Indy to make these events as great as they are. Please make sure to follow Girls Gone Drifting on Instagram and Facebook so you’re in the loop on all the exciting things to come for the 2025 season!

We can’t wait to see everyone in just a few months!
