It’s finally that time of year, folks. The roller dogs are cooking, Uncle Jimmy’s warming up his bingo fingers and our DIGP drivers are psyching themselves up for the final round of the season. No Star Bash is upon us.
This weekend, September 18-20, the fifteenth edition of NSB will be going down at Xenia, OH’s Darana Raceway. There’s a very tight race at the top of the DIGP leaderboard as we head into the final round of the season. Following a trip to Michigan’s M1 Concourse for Round Two that saw Josh Estey take the win, earning himself a single-point lead over his teammate and Round One winner Mike Steele. Sam Cornewell trails Steele by seven points, and the rest of the top ten behind him are within striking distance of the top spot.
Last season’s final round, held at NSB XIV, saw young shredder Jake Clark take the top step of the podium on an MDU-era layout the judges revived to mix things up from the classic DISL layout. Clark is returning this year, as is Harrison Johnson who finished fourth at that round. They’ll add yet more skill and variety to an already diverse field of well-built cars and very skilled drivers.

In order to preserve the NSB tradition of Saturday night party trains of 15+ cars, the DIGP round has been spread out across Friday and Saturday. Qualifying will go down Friday evening, while the Top 16 Main Event kicks off at 6:00 PM Saturday. Uncle Jimmy’s Bingo also promises to be a nail biter, going down from 8-9:00 PM with the party laps starting directly after.
Single-day spectator passes are $25 a pop, while three-day passes are $30. Paid VIP spectator parking inside the gates is available for $20 a car, while free parking is also available. Spectator gates open at 3:00 PM Friday! Follow along with the FaceBook event page here for the full schedule and any updates. We can’t wait to bash with everybody!
