Despite the added challenges of an extra day and a full round of Drift Indy Street League, this 13th edition of No Star Bash delivered on the promise of a four-day shredfest. With over 165 drivers and around 2,500 spectators packed into Kil-kare, the Drift Indy community showed out for our annual all-out celebration of drifting.

Justin “The Cheetah” Medina has made quite a name for himself in drifting in a relatively short span of time. From his start on a rainy day at Kil-kare in 2020 behind the wheel of his E46 sedan to the DISL podium in his Honda S2000 in 2022 and third overall in the 2024 DISL rankings, Justin has packed a ton of shredding into just a few seasons.

Driver Spotlight: Cash Staub

Four seasons ago, a 15-year-old and his dad showed up at one of our clinics with a cool, V8-swapped BMW E28. We weren’t even sure if he was going to be allowed to drive, but they got it figured out and he set off to learn the basics. Today, that same kid is first in this season’s Drift Indy Street League rankings and has been proving his mettle with pro drivers on the Drift Appalachia touges. 

Cash Staub, now 18 and a high school graduate, lives and breathes drifting.

DISL Round 2 Recap: Staub and Cornewell Earn Second Straight Podium

If anyone doubted that we’ve entered a new era for Drift Indy Street League talent, back-to-back podiums from Cash Staub and Sam Cornewell ought to be enough evidence that we truly have. Cash took the gold, Sam the silver and DISL newcomer Steven Fishel snagged the bronze at the end of two days of shredding from some of the best in the midwest.

DISL Round 2 Preview: DISL Heads to USAir

We’re headed to USAir Raceway in Shawano, WI for Drift Indy Street League Round 2 this week. 

The event marks the second time DISL has hit the road, with last season’s Volume 10 down in Corbin, KY being the first. We’ve worked with the crew at USAir to compose a kick-ass, never-before-seen competition course. Like all the layouts we’ve run, it’s designed to be both technical and exciting to watch.
