There’s no shortage of analogies to describe what went down at Drift Indy Street League Round 1 this weekend. We shook the etch-a-sketch. We poked the reset button with a mechanical pencil. We deleted our My Player. We prestiged.

Whatever. The point is, it’s a new era for DISL, and the new look is rad as hell.

The time is nearly upon us, folks. We’re just a few days away from the dawn of the next iteration of Drift Indy Street League.

After an initial run of 10 volumes that spanned three seasons and saw over 100 total drivers vie for the podium, we’re wiping the scoreboard clean and starting fresh with a three-round series, all to be held in 2024.

There's fewer distractions than in pro drifting or big money comps. The barrier to entry is lower, but still high enough to make sure everyone is held to a high standard of skill and style.
